Info for the 56th annual Messiah at the West Point Cadet Chapel

Members of the WVC have again been invited to participate in the 56th annual Messiah at the West Point Cadet Chapel.  Members of choruses from nearby counties join to form a choir of over 100 and sing out this traditional Christmas favorite. The concert, which will cover Part I of the oratorio plus the Hallelujah Chorus, begins at 3:00 pm and is free to the public.  The concert "will proceed in any kind of weather – rain, snow, ice or shine!"

The chorus call (the time to be in place in the choir section of the chapel) is 1:45 pm in order to have a quick rehearsal prior to the performance.  [Note, your webmeister highly recommends that you plan on arriving at the Cadet Chapel around 1:00 pm in order to secure a good seat in the choir section (first come, first chair).  You can relax and listen to the soloists and orchestra rehearse their parts.]
