The WVC is returning to Carnegie Hall!!
MidAmerica Productions has invited the WVC to participate in their concert at Carnegie Hall on Monday, June 29, 8:00 pm. We will join three choirs from Little Rock, Arkansas, to perform Gabriel Fauré's Requiem. We last performed this Requiem in the Spring of 2018 in Orange County and at Carnegie Hall also in a MidAmerica concert. There will be two rehearsals with the conductor and participating choirs in Manhattan on June 27 and 28 and there will be a dress rehearsal on stage at Carnegie Hall with the orchestra during the day on the 29th. On May 26, June 2, 9, 16, and 23, we will rehearse at the Warwick Reformed Church at 7:30 pm.
It's important that those WVC members who want to participate in this concert look at the their calendars for June and clear the final weekend for the rehearsals and performance in NYC.
Stay tuned to this web page for further announcements including vocal scores, practice aides and transportation info. Click here for MidAm's web page.
