It's important that all who intend on performing in this concert make it to all of the rehearsals listed above!
Transportation to/from rehearsals and the concert: There are several options:
WVC's Treasurer, Amelia DiCarlo, has arranged for bus transportation to/from Warwick Town Hall (132 Kings Hwy, Warwick, NY 10990) and the rehearsal and performance venues. She has taken reservations for seats on the bus to/from rehearsals and the concert in NYC - 3 days. She needs a check for $180.00 per person made out to "Warwick Valley Chorale".
Make your own transportation arrangements.
Stay in Manhattan for the long weekend.
Etc.
The attire for the performance in Carnegie Hall is the same as what we have been wearing for the WVC concerts in mid-May in Orange Co. Note: there is very limited room in the green rooms at Carnegie Hall for storing performance attire and for changing. Most performers find it convenient to wear their concert attire all day on the day of the performance. And don't leave valuables in the green room!
The music scores will be in a black folder. Paper scores only.
Tablets are not permitted on the stage for either the dress rehearsal or the concert.

Some considerations:
° Concert dress is what you wear for your local concerts. However, there are some restrictions:
° Please do not wear sparkling jewels on stage. The stage lights reflecting off your jewelry will cause visual distractions to the audience.
° Because of the closeness of the performers, please do not wear hair spray or cologne.
° Please be sure to turn off all beeping watches and cell phones.
° Because there is a good deal of walking and standing on the day of the dress rehearsal and performance, it is very important to wear comfortable shoes!
